Mario Rubén Carrión is a multimedia storyteller and documentarian. Born in Puerto Rico and now based out of Jersey City, Mario is also the co-founder of New Visual Collective. NVC brings together a community of local artists that support each other’s visions and personal projects, and at the same time connects these artists to commercial clients looking for quality visual content. Mario has worked with Fania Records, the Caribbean Cultural Center and African Diaspora Institute, Amazon, Jameson, Keller Williams, Remezcla, Cosa Nuestra, Que Bajo?!, Vibras NYC and has been published by Vibe, Complex, El Nuevo Día and Okay Africa, among others. He is also the photographer for the Afro Latino Festival of NYC.
